The SENA 30K has a battery life of 13 hours of Bluetooth Intercom and 8 hours of Mesh Intercom only with a charging time of 1.5 hours. A Quick charge is also available where the SENA is charged for 20 minutes which avails 5 hours of Bluetooth Intercom and 3 hours of Mesh Intercom.

The SENA 30K comes with a Bluetooth 4.1 version, with a working distance of 2kms. It also comes with a Mesh Intercom with a working distance of also 2kms. It also has a built-in FM radio with 10 preset stations and automated scanning.

There are two profiles that are available, Headset Profile and a Hands-free profile.

Headset Profile

The Headset Profile defines a simple audio connection between a Bluetooth audio gateway, like a cell phone, and a headset. The profile also supports a single button to start or end a call, and the use of a volume control.

Hands-Free Profile

The Hands-Free Profile is much more robust than the headset profile. You can switch between calls on your phone’s call waiting systems, dial numbers, access your phone’s address book and handle three-way calls.

Hands-free devices can even read off caller ID numbers, control your phone’s echo cancellation and noise reduction functions, and use voice control.

It is light weight, weighing only 61grams.
